• Flexnuts

  

  Flexnuts are used in combination with our other products. They are designed to flex out at the bottom and flex in toward the top of the nut. This distributes the bolt load along many threads, adds elasticity, and prevents stress concentrations in the first few threads. This reduces the possibility of stud breakage.

• Thrust Collars

  

  Superbolt thrust collars consist of unthreaded rings with jackbolts which are used primarily on the bearings on large steel mill rolls. Sizes up to 40" inside dia. have been shipped, capable of creating 4,500,000 lbs of bearing preload.

• Lubricants

  

  Superbolt Moly and Graphite based lubricants are used to insure proper friction coefficient values on Superbolt jackbolt torque figures. They should be used for relubricating tensioners and can be applied to the main threads as an anti-sieze compound.

  Superbolt offers a line of extra strong socket tools designed to torque external hex jackbolts. Impact and deep-well versions, as well as extensions, are available.

  Superbolt offers standard air impacts and various high quality torque wrenches. Air guns come in 3/8", 1/2" and 3/4" sizes. Torque wrenches are available in all size ranges.
