Problem: Wrench to untorque existing piston nut is connected to overhead crane (safety hazard). This results in piston rod rotating in jig, which must be clamped together.
Solution: Superbolt® Piston End Tensioner is tightened and loosened with only a hand torque wrench. Proper tightness is achieved and rotation on the piston rod is eliminated.
Old method utilizing an overhead crane.
Another piston end nut using a Superbolt® Multi-jackbolt tensioner.
Superbolt® Tensioners make bolting Piston End Nuts fast, safe and easy.
