Cam Follower Jamnut

Problem: The Cam Follower can easily be damaged due to improper installation, most freqeuntly because of over-torquing. Additionally, "Double Nutting" is frequently required, which makes installation and removal even more problematic.

Solution: Superbolt® engineers designed and manufactured these 2.5" dia. jamnuts utilizing Multi-Jackbolt technology. Only hand tools are required, providing easy and accurate installation and removal with no damage to the roller.

Required Pre-Load: 20,000 lbs
Hex Nut Torque: 500 lb•ft
Superbolt® Jackbolt Torque: 10 lb•ft
